The Lone Star State shouldn’t have lone rising stars.
We embrace the idea that “Innovation is Statecraft”: when emerging leaders flourish in their industries and regions, they strengthen Texas and help craft the next chapter of our country.
The Texas Innovation Fellowship exists to elevate leaders in innovation, while giving their work a statewide platform and inviting them to join Texas’s signature experiences.
The inaugural group will not only be the first to participate in this leadership initiative, they’ll help shape it for future Fellows. Explore how to participate below and apply to join us in shaping the next Texas.
CONVENE & CONTRIBUTE
Convene an industry roundtable and/or author a local Texas Venture Fest recap for the website. Our team will provide light editorial support consistent with our sister signature event, the Texas Venture Gala & Forum here.
A SEAT AT THE TABLE
Receive 1 complimentary admission to the Texas Venture Gala & Forum. Fellows will be seated together or at an industry table, and may also contribute reflections from the experience. Travel and lodging not included.
STATEWIDE VISIBILITY
Receive an official Fellow profile featuring your biography, regional or sector focus, and published work. Fellows and their contributions may also be highlighted across social media channels, events, in addition to the website.
SHAPE WHAT’S NEXT
Help raise the standard for the statewide innovation community by shaping the Fellowship’s continued growth in 2027.
FELLOWSHIP DETAILS
Term: September 2026 - May 2027 (kicked off by the Week, culminating with the Gala)
Eligibility: Available to early- and mid-career leaders advancing innovation in a Texas industry and region
Commitment: Convene one roundtable and / or author a Texas Venture Fest recap
Format: Primarily digital, with optional and designated in-person gatherings at the Gala and / or Fest
Cost: No application or participation fee
Compensation: No compensation
Included: One complimentary Texas Venture Gala & Forum admission
